"Great stay at the May De Ville Lakeside. I will say that this being a 5 star hotel is a bit of a stretch but it is very nice and the people are 5 star. The rooms were clean with great linens and towels, comfy bed and adequate plugs for charging. We had dinner at the rooftop bar. We didn’t expect much as it was “bar food” but still it was very mediocre and the service was slow - unfortunate as it wasn’t busy. That aside we were there for the view and it did not disappoint. The hotel is in a great location if you like to be in the heart of activity - right at the night market on the weekend, but lots of shopping all the time, small eateries and great places to grab a beer. Short walk to the lake. We were only there for our last night in Hanoi but enjoyed it and would recommend."

"I’d give more than 5 if I could! The staff went above and beyond - I left my jacket at a hair salon and the hotel staff called the salon and arranged it to be brought back to the hotel before our flight (all within 15 minutes). Aside from the amazing staff, the family rooms were a perfect blend of privacy and closeness. The rooms were well cleaned and maintained. Will definitely book again when we revisit Hanoi "
