"Overall a good stay. The cleaner came in early in the morning while we were in the room- that was a little weird. She didn't even acknowledge us she just looked at us then left. We had some trouble with the toilet flush- it was quite old and seemed like cistern trouble over user error. I mentioned this on check out and they logged it for maintenance. The restaurant was excellent- good service, good prices, good atmosphere. The pool was an experience- I didn't know you have to wear swim caps...

"My family and I stayed at the Green Isle Hotel during our vacation in Dublin. When making the reservation, the hotel stated that early check-in was available for an additional fee. We arrived at 7:30 a.m. after an overnight flight from the United States and were prepared to pay that fee. "The rom itself was fine, though the bathroom floor covering had a large hole in it. The hallway, stairs and reception are like travelling back in time - creaky, very stained old carpets. These areas are not shown in this listing. Misleading. It was very overpriced for the standard. If you do stay, ask for a room away from the noise, as it is above a nightclub, and rooms at the back are above a gigantic beer garden. Staff - absolutely lovely and helpful. Let us store our bags for the day."

"This is a poor excuse for a Fairmont and it's isolated so you need a vehicle or taxis to go anywhere. Staff who fail do not appear to suffer any consequences. The hotel has three beautiful rooms but none of them were in use. It's really difficult to access the spa so prople with disabilities beware. Our room was the smallest we've ever had a Fairmont and its location was singularly inconvenient. Thee were only two places to eat and nothing nearby. Some staff were wonderful but too many were...
