"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. "Overall a nice stay. Outside a little off-putting but inside really nice. Notices re heating etc very useful. Most generally good but blinds don’t work very well and that toilet really does need mending very soon - as a female I was hit in the back by the toilet lid several times! Nice and close for exploring the docks. "

"Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property. Would definitely stay here again. "
