"The inn is a stone’s throw from the beach with sea views from my bedroom and the dining terrace, situated on the busy market square. Ideal for swimming from the sheltered beach. The staff were all very hard working, attentive and kind - nothing was too much trouble to make you feel welcome. "Welcomed on arrival and provided with a useful map of Lyme Regis and tips for eating out. Accommodation was clean throughout and staff friendly. Breakfast was perfect with variety of fruit juice, cereals and yoghurts. English breakfast was very tasty with quality bacon and sausage. Parking located at the rear of the hotel. If returning to the area I wouldn't hesitate to stay again at this hotel."

"The property was as in pictures apart from the entrance, which was around the back of the property on an uneven surface and up a steep metal wet staircase. Would suggest slated blinds as the sun makes the property very hot especially at the velux window above the sink. Overall, a pleasant stay in a lovely sea side town. "

"We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short tour of the Jurassic Coast. The location is spectacular and you can almost step out onto the beach. There is a lovely bay window which you can sit in and watch the world go by listening to the sound of the waves. If only this had been a nice padded seat, I might not have wanted to leave. Parking is a bit of a problem in Lyme Regis but there was no noise from the restaurants below, which I thought might be a problem"

"The property is located on a site which includes a hotel and a group of small private homes. None of which is a negative. The area is very quiet, but you definitely need a car.
