"This hotel was very nice, and very clean! You could tell it was very very slightly outdated, but that is compared to a Holiday Inn express that my husband and I stayed at two weeks previous and had just been completely renovated. We would definitely stay in this one again! Love the water and cookies at check-in!"

"Room was clean but old. Property is under renovation which is not mentioned online. Also no breakfast, only coffee. Needs a good up to date Reno on rooms. Also keurig coffee maker in room only brews half a cup of coffee so I wouldn’t waste my time using it. The fridge did come in handy for outside drinks tho. Thank you to the staff which were all very polite and friendly!"

"One of the best family hotels around. I brought my children of ages 3mo, 16, 13, and 11 to this hotel and it did not disappoint. The restaurant that is attached, Tori Blue was very nice. The indoor pool gave the children something to do while I was able to get some focused gym time as well. The aesthetic of the hotel is absolutely stunning. This is a very peaceful hotel with exceptionally kind and accommodating staff members. Rooms were spacious and clean. No issues at all over Easter weekend....

"My room was very dusty and there were two dead bugs (small) that somehow housekeeping missed. Also, there's no closet--only hangers. It was fine with just me but if my husband was traveling too, that would have been an issue for our clothes. I found breakfast unappealing but maybe that's just me. Overall, it's okay. I wouldn't stay there again but I'm really picky with hotels."

"I was in room 707. The shower water temperature could not be changed from scorching hot. The heat did not work. The phone did not work. The keys were difficult for entry. There was no available parking at the building. Very disappointing for the rate of the room."

"The staff was on the phone and inattentive while checking us in. Zero hospitality. The room was so basic. You could see the metal bedframe. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. We called and asked for a new room and they were matter of fact and said we don’t have another room. And offered for us to check out for a refund. 4 days later the “refund manager” still hasn’t called us "

"Pool was supposed to be heated but was cold and extremely small. Room was nice. Breakfast was terrible. Cold sausage and rubbery eggs with hard French toast. Waffles were good. Was told we could check out at 12:30 and then at 11:30 they started knocking on our door and calling us. Was told no late check out due to the workers wanted to get home for Easter. Yes I understand it that it's a Christian holiday for some but for the rest of the world that doesn't celebrate Christian holidays this is a...

"We stayed there at Christmas, because our family is all there and this last stay was to bury our son after a tragic death. I was shocked to see the rate had doubled due to a Liberty U. event. How is that fair to guests that choose your property in a time of need? We'll re-think our next trip to Lynchburg and check out a VRBO. One suggestion, would be to replace the chairs in the rooms with something that is comfortable. Have you ever tried spending any time on your computer in one of those...
