"I stayed at RACV Goldfields resort for 1 night as I was in Ballarat for the marathon. I couldnt believe the size of the room when I opened the door, it was huge, it even had a spa bath! I had to go back into my emails to check how much I paid for the night, as surely I paid much more than what I thought! But no, it was so reasonable priced for the room I was given. The beds were huge, it was all so clean. The beautiful pool was warmed just right, the under cover spa was amazing. All perfect for post run recovery. I really didnt want to leave! Next time I will bring the kids as they would have loved the resort too!! I really cant fault my stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!"

"Beautiful heritage hotel with amazing staff. Lovely balcony room with massive bath & Appelle toiletries. Breakfast was a treat - continental & cooked to order smashed avo eggs. Autumn leaves & the kangaroos. I can’t wait to visit again for a winter spa weekend. "

"The batch room needs urgent attention as the handwash basin unit starts to disintegrate. Also, the ventilation appears to be rather poor as the bathroom smells musty. The floor lamp switch is faulty The hot water kettle does not boil the water, and it also makes the water taste very bad. The tv didn't work because there was no signal - internet connection problem. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay."

"The aspect was serene and made you feel part of the wild Australian bush, with expansive hillside slopes and swaying trees, cows on the hillcrest and the sun streaming down through the valley; yet just off the road for access. It was a fantastic way to feel isolated in a calm, luxurious cocoon with 6 places to sit, lie, bathe and relax in a beautifully compact space inside but also connect to the outside on the deck for champagne or private bath overlooking the valley. Lovely stay"
