"The lady at the front desk was very nice. We were staying at the hotel because we had a graduation to go to. We got back to the room after 9 when the office closed. My room was very clean, except ALL you could smell was moldy, musty, like the rug was washed or the roof leaked and the room was closed up. I slept with the blanket over my face to block out the smell. I woke up at 2, 4, and by 6:03 I couldn’t handle the smell anymore, threw my belongings into my car and got out of there. I have been nauseous for the past 6 hours. I will never EVER stay there again"

"This was our favorite hotel of our trip. The view of Machias River was so peaceful, my 6 year old just sat out there coloring for an hour. Everything in the room felt very fresh and clean. 10/10"
