"The room was is bad need of updating. Lots of chipped paint, holes in carpet, rusty vents, etc. Staff was super helpful and friendly."

"Great property awesome location. Shared kitchen, bathrooms etc but that was fine. These facilities were clean. Beds good. Perhaps could do with extra power points. Had to buy extension cord fir Cpap machine but that's ok. Felt safe wandering around at 2am in the morning, starwatching. Nice & warm"

"Location is prefect for Mount Cook, view is beautiful. We are happy to stayed one night before go hiking. There is big kitchen in upstairs and large rest area."

"I loved my stay here! They call it a motel, but it is like having your own mini apartment. You are surrounded by breathtaking views too! The “room” which was a two bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, and small living room was clean and updated with minor damage on the kitchen floor from the fridge (I assume). Would recommend staying here! I hope to be back someday soon."

"An early morning lake view changes the entire feel of a stay. The scenery from our room was absolutely incredible. Plus, the staff here are young, energetic, and genuinely friendly. We didn't get a chance to eat the included breakfast, though. We had to rush straight out the door for our activity at Mt. Cook."
