"I stayed in 6 different hotels during my trip around New Zealand, and this was honestly the best one of all. Amazing location, beautiful property, very clean, well maintained, and everything felt very well kept. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the overall stay was excellent. Rob was also super friendly and very helpful with my late check-in. I would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in Twizel."

"My husband and I had a magical night at the lodge. The attention to detail started the moment we stepped in with welcome drinks (non-alcoholic option available) and handmade chocolates in the shape of rocks. The view outside our room was out of this world. The dinner (included in our room rate) was world class - inventive and high quality ingredients. The breakfast the next morning had several options to choose from. One of our most special stays!"
