One of our 2 rooms was not ready until 45 minutes after check-in--despite the receptionist calling me on my cell to tell me that the room was ready. The room was not cleaned throughly, there was a phone but it did not work. the cord for the hair drier hanging on the wall was caked in dust from never being wiped off. "The place has a great price value ratio, the staff at the reception could be friendlier but the not-too-welcoming communication style was similar across Mackinaw City so it might not be the hotel’s fault. The place has excellent location, right at the port to Mackinac Island, free parking and buffet breakfast. Overall, I recommend it."
