"The apartment is very modern and absolutely spotless. Gabriele and especially Matilda were perfect hosts - friendly and with a lot of attention for every detail. The breakfast served with a great view over the town and sea is delicious and of high quality ingredients. We highly recommend it for people who want to have an easy to reach accommodation in walking distance (uphill though) to the city center and beaches and want to avoid the bustling city center. We definitely would come back. "

"We just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Raino. Very family friendly, very relaxing, really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The owners were just lovely and it truly felt like a real taste of Italy. Will definitely return!"

"We had a WONDERFUL stay, a hidden gem with a stunning terrace and private beach "

"We arrived via the not fit to drive at night broken road and upon arriving decided NOT to stay even though we had paid. The hotel pics must be very old as it looks like something from a horror film. Flaky paint, badly kept gardens and flies in our room. We handed back the key and left. The road to the property is horrendous. Don't even think about going anywhere for dinner and back....it's not safe....awful"

"Stayed at B. & B Il Castellino in March 2025, after seeing a positive review. Sadly, our stay was not good at all, and we were happy to leave. The biggest problem was very poor communication from management about the true status of services. We arrived by train, and there was no taxi or bus service. We called the restaurant (Creperia and More, owned by the same owners) to advise us, and they said it is “a 10 minute walk.” We carried our luggage for 1/2 mile and up 21 flights of stairs from the...

"This property was HEAVEN!!! It's a family run hotel so you know they were exceptional. EVERYONE was so kind and accomodating. Rosano, Fabio, Jovani, Oscar, Philip (hope I got that right) were great fun and helped us navigate around town! Housekeeping was the SWEETEST. The beach was cleaned nightly and they have little boats to take out and shoes to wear for walking over rocks. The views were STUNNING and the sea was MAGICAL! Breakfast was perfect and you can order lunch on the beach which was SOOOO YUMMY. Also, 24/7 service with coctails. We never wanted to leave to be honest! Note to Americans: Keep your wild children calm and respectful or leave them home and be sure to tip the staff, esp. housekeeping :)."

Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa

"The property and its views were amazing. Transportation getting to the resort from the airport was expensive. Expedia organized our flight from Toronto to Sicily requiring a ferry to cross then organize a shuttle at the harbour to the resort. This would have added hours and substantial cost to get to the resort. We reorganized so we flew from Toronto to Rome then Rome to Palermo reserving a shuttle at our expense to get to the resort."

"We loved our stay at this charming hotel in Cefalu. The rooms, hotel and grounds are beautiful. The restaurant is spectacular.. some of the best food we had in Italy. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Every interaction with them was pleasant and very helpful and they even helped me strengthen my Italian skills. They have some of the best smelling toiletries I’ve ever encountered, and even the cleaning staff was super friendly.. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the center of Cefalu so bring comfortable shoes for the track, but the distance offers a bit of a getaway and peacefulness."
