The hotel is located in a historic building and it has been updated. But the decour is quite poor. The corridors are dark and the room's furniture are quite simple. The reception lounge is furnished with quite strange sofas and no professional design seems to be involved.

Hotel Acta Madfor
Very nice room, well located, close to all the important points of interest. Best of all, in a quiet area away from the busy Madrid streets. In front there is a Mall, food court and also train station

Novotel Madrid Center
Lovely stylish hotel. Very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Advertised a children’s play area but this only seemed to be a corner of chairs in the lobby area.
