"The staff is excellent and exceptionally helpful. Special thanks to receptionist Dini, buggy driver Sanjeev, trip coordinator Melanie, and the wait staff who remembered everything about us. Met some delightful people. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Temperatures of air and ocean are ideal (Oct.). Caution for those who have difficulty with stairs or long walks. There are workarounds, but they require golf carts (“buggies”) to be called."

"We had a lovely day Good Life ego Lodge. This is a small boutique hotel in a quiet area of Cap Malhereux. It is within two minutes walk of the red roof church Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice. We use the buses to travel along the north coast and visited all the beautiful beaches. The bus stop is only a few minutes away. The rooms are quite compact, but it was big enough for us. The pool was quite small, but we did not use it as there are such beautiful beaches close by. Antoine was a wonderful host. I...

"Inchecken was makkelijker dan verwacht. De kamer was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt was vers en gevarieerd, wel miste ik een ommeletje. De omgeving is erg stil in de avond (wat geldt voor heel Mauritius) maar het hotel is op makkelijke loopafstand op een van de mooiste stranden die ik ooit heb gezien. "The property owners were so nice and helpful. They helped us get a cab to go to dinner because there is nothing close to the property. The property was sufficient for a one night pre-cruise stay. We booked three rooms, one of which was spacious and had a great water view. The other two were smaller and simple. It was definitely good value for the price and if you are just looking for a place to stay for the night."

Value for money is good A few remarks despite (1) NOT a Kids-friendly place (the pool is too deep, no sidewalks anywhere around) (2) The area is dead, there is no chance to walk anywhere (3) NO AirCon in the appt (only in the bedroom) (4) we had mould in 1 bathroom, unacceptable "
