"The facilities are in desperate need for a major renovation. Everything in the rooms are so old that even if housekeeping cleans them daily, a dirty feeling lingers particularly in the bathtubs and sinks. The room I was initially given had a major noise problem possibly due to bad plumbing. The second room was not as noisy, however it did not have hot water early in the morning. Housekeeping was not very efficient. When I moved to the second room, the towels from the previous guest were still hanging over the bathtub and even though I made several requests for the bathroom to be cleaned, nobody came to clean it. Thankfully, the concierge was able to get someone to clean the room when I went out for dinner. The staff member who initially checked me in was very rude to say the least (doesn't even deserve a single star). However, the concierge and the person who changed my room were exceptionally helpful and kind (they went above and beyond to assist me, I would give them more than 5 stars) - so I have mixed feelings about the staff. I should also note that the hotel does not offer a free luggage storage space after check-out. Be prepared to pay 6USD for each piece of luggage to be stored in the luggage room after check-out. Make sure to ask for the amenities provided in exchange for the destination fee (free bike rental, Guggenheim tickets, 35USD credit per day at the hotel restaurants/bars). If it wasn't for the amazing concierge I wouldn't be aware of these amenities."
