"We traveled as a family of four with our 11- and 8-year-olds and stayed at the resort for four days. The kids had a fantastic time, snorkeling and kayaking at the beach, foam party in the family pool. The hotel organizes plenty of activities and there’s a wide variety of food to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The resort is located on a hill, so we used Grab to get to Patong Beach. Overall, we definitely recommend this resort for families!"

"The JW Marriott Resort was absolutely breathtaking. The property is massive, with so many areas and restaurants that I didn’t even get a chance to experience everything due to time constraints. I stayed for a week in December, and the Christmas decorations throughout the resort added such a magical, festive touch—it truly elevated the entire atmosphere. From the moment my car arrived at the hotel, I was completely speechless. There was this overwhelming feeling of awe that’s honestly hard to put into words. It was one of those moments where you just feel how special a place is. My room exceeded all expectations. I stayed in a deluxe cabin, and it was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. The bathroom opened into the bedroom, which made the room feel even more luxurious and open—just stunning. The staff truly made this experience unforgettable. A very special shout-out to OY at the concierge desk, who planned my tours and went above and beyond to make sure my vacation was seamless and memorable. She genuinely took care of me. The front desk team and the JW Café staff were also exceptional—warm, professional, and attentive at every interaction. Another huge shout-out goes to the team at Ginja Restaurant. If you’re traveling solo and craving amazing Thai food, this is a must-visit. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the food is outstanding. "The resort is located across the beach and has all the amenities one can think of. The staff are friendly barring one or two buggy drivers who are burnt out driving around. Tony from Cafe Studio was brilliant!! They seem under staffed with the breakfast volume and one chef apparently so food takes a while at times to get to the table. Anan at reception was very courteous and I wish I took all the other names but they were all brilliant! The security staff manning the residences were very helpful and the pool staff too. I cannot fault the service in any way. Clearly the HR and training department is doing a good job with getting the right staff. The only glitch is that the hotel is not wheelchair friendly. Many steps to climb and we had to carry the wheelchair up. If your audience is not the disabled, then you have to mention it on booking platforms. My shoulders are in pain carrying the wheelchair up and down steps."
