"I stayed in a beautiful, tastefully renovated 1 bedroom loft in the best part of Old Port with my teenage daughter. The block was lively and we had the best views of it but what was interesting was how quiet our place remained. I didn't need to rent a car as everything we could possibly need was in walking distance. There is an abundance of art and food in this area. Things are very quick to get to. "The property is in a great location and at first seemed fine but after being there for a few days I noticed a few things - the sink in both the bathroom and the kitchen did not drain well (the bathroom sink actually took hours to drain), the faucet in the kitchen leaked and there living room was not cleaned thoroughly when we checked in. We could hear people talking and flushing toilets all around us. The staff was great and the location is excellent. I think you can do better in downtown Portland."

"Comfortable bed in a quaint budget room with lavatory, but shower/toilet rooms down the hall. Good window A/C unit. Very quiet. My room was on the 3rd floor reached by fairly narrow and steep stairs, so be ready. Good free limited breakfast, free snacks at other times. Very helpful staff.
