"Very quick, friendly checkin and we had a great swim in the pool and played some table tennis. Nice 12 noon checkout and a great breakfast buffet meant a nice easy start to our final morning. Convenient for Chartres visit before heading back to the channel tunnel. Comfy beds and good size for a 1 night stopover. Thanks."

"Absolutely stunning property and fantastic history and beautiful grounds. The only downside was the room we stayed in at the front overlooked the lake. There is no air conditioning and the room was unbearably hot. I opened the windows and then was badly bitten by mosquitoes. I appreciate the building is very old and the staff are clear about lack of air conditioning but I would not stay here again during the summer and risk a heat wave as it is simply impossible to sleep"

"the rooms were basic, but the hotel has nice surroundings and the breakfast was good. having a Tesla destination charger was very convenient for our trip to the south of france."

"The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is truly original with the biggest " cheese dome" in the world. The big problem I had was that the rooms are not equipped with a mini bar which is a must at any time of the year but more so during a heat wave. I was upgraded to a room with a tiny fridge and no alcohol in it. There was no vending machine either. The underground parking is very convenient with a direct elevator to the reception area."
