Cozy and good located

Really nice place in a cozy and more local area of Malaga, in walking distance to the beach and main attractions. I enjoyed the facilities of La Siesta de Picasso and the service and communication with the host was great. Can gladly recommend this place for others to stay when in Malaga.

The key codes were successful for both the outer door and room. The hostel was very clean. The shower was perfect and we had clean towels every day. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was available. Tea and coffee was available in a downstairs lobby with access to an outdoor ‘garden’. The hostel was in an ideal location, being near to bars and restaurants. The beach and castle was a 15 minute walk. Marcus was very attentive, contacting us via WhatsApp to check if all was going OK and was there anything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay. Only thing is there’s a road construction outside, so that part is horrible (BUT beyond the control of the property owners, so I still gave it five stars.) For me, it didn’t take away from the beauty, comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation. I really love the place. Perfect location.

Excellent property. Owners are very communicative and helpful. Rooms are clean, modern, and renovated. Plenty of space to sleep multiple people. My room had a little "living room" with a 2nd TV, sleeper couch, and foldable table&chairs. 1 minute walking distance from the square, 2 minutes from Old Town. Air conditioning and ceiling fan available. No kitchen except the shared kitchenette in the lobby but I didnt need one anyway. I recommend without hesitation and would stay here again.

Good base to explore Malaga

There were some works in the street during my stay, which caused some noice in the mornings. During the day, I was usually out, so that all in all, it didn't bother me too much. The hotel is very nice and the owner, Agnes, provides very good information via WhatsApp on whatever question you might have. I am looking forward to go back to La Siesta de Picasso when visiting Malaga.

The host is very nice, always kept in contact and sending us the information in time. We had a late check in and we didn't have any issue. The property is clean, we saw daily someone cleaning the common areas. The property has a small courtyard, perfect for eating and hanging out, as well as a kitchenette equipped with everything needed (plates, bowls, cutleries, etc.) Internet is available throughout the property at a decent speed. The room was small but very clean, equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan, minifridge and a TV. The bed was comfortable and the shower spacious. The location is excellent. it is close to a marketplace, restaurants and Picasso Museum, making it easy to explore the city center and to access the public transport. The area seems to be safe, even though we saw and we were approached by beggars and people that were clearly intoxicated, but all of them were peaceful. Bonus, if you explore the area you can see very cool graffiti :) Overall we had a pleasant stay and it was perfect for us.

Be aware that as of March 2025 ongoing roadworks is happening in the street that the property is on. They did email after the room was booked and gave me the option to cancel. It would be better to know this information before booking rather than after booking. It would be useful to have a mat by the entrance to the mainHallway to brush sand off shoes before entering building. There is a communal kitchen in the reception area where you can make teas and coffees, etc and take them to your room. The room is ideally situated for the centre of Malaga and is clean and new.

Great and lovely accommodation. Very clean and close to historic centre. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Good wifi. Did not see the staff but they messaged to check everything is ok and room cleaned daily. No teas or coffees in the room but available on the ground floor kitchen area and outside area to sit which we did not use. Close to restaurants and large supermarket very close by. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Hotel, Location and Management

Self check in, very simple. Great room with balcony, black out windows superb. The street is quiet, no noise. Kitchen useful in reception. Bathroom clean and modern. Location incredible for the price. Restaurants and shops 5 min away, main square 15 min away. Would certainly stay here again. Management very responsive and helpful.
