We had a nice time at Kertanegara Guest House. The staff was super friendly and there are many shopping and eating options in the area.

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet hôtel en ayant réservé avec hotels.com Il était bien indiqué sur la réservation que le petit déjeuner était inclus mais en arrivant on m’a expliqué que l’hôtel ne servait pas de petit déjeuner. Des odeurs étranges venaient des canalisations de la salle de bain qui pouvaient s’apparenter à des odeurs d’essence… Une fenêtre donnait sur une pièce sans porte mais une autre fenêtre d’une autre chambre qui n’était pas occupée pendant notre séjour. La lumière de la salle de bain de cette seconde chambre était toujours allumée, sûrement pour faire tourner la ventilation et que ça ne sente pas trop les odeurs de canalisation. Nous avions donc toujours de la lumière dans notre chambre, heureusement que nous avions les masques pour les avions. Malgré le confort que je décrirais comme moyen, le personnel est très sympathique et toujours là pour vous donner des informations. il y a une salle au rez de chaussée où il est possible de manger son repas dans une déco plutôt sympa.

Ordentliches Homestay mit gehobenen Niveau

Ein ordentliches und gehobenes Homestay für Backpacker in zentraler Lage. Leider ohne jegliches Frühstücksangebot. Cafés sind aber schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Man ist fußläufig innerhalb 20 Minuten an den wichtigsten Punkten der Stadt sowie mit drm Grab in 15 Minuten am Bahnhof.

Its a strategic and wonderful place to stay, located in the heart of Malang (Ijen area). They provide spacious and clean room with comfort bed. My only bad experience was the drainage in shower area, its easy getting flooded.

Great place to stay, hospitality great, the room very nice, cleanliness ok, but the drain in the bath room had a bad smell, amenities standard, pot for hot water looks not clean, please improve in the future, better change the pot if already had crust or corrosion to make the guest comfort while boiling the water.

The name is misleading. It should be change to Hotel as the condition is similar to 3 star hotel not a guest house. Highly recommanded

Nice enough place but the bathroom in my room could have used a good scrub it was very grimy. Also my hand towel was dirty it had dried rice accompanied by the sauce it was prepared in. Otherwise the room was fine and the staff were very friendly

Best value in Malang! 4 star experience.

This place, hands down, has the highest value in Malang. It presents itself at budget price, yet invites you in to a 4 star experience. It is quaint, homely, and certainly premium in every sense of the word. The rooms boast of high ceilings, simple modern look, and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was good. There was a nice spread offered for breakfast. The location of this Kertanegara Premium Guest House fantastic. It is walking distance from great restaurants and the city's center. I was a bit sad that there wasn't a pool or a space for my toddler to stay. The property could be bit more family friendly in that sense. Overall, I think you will love your stay here!

Central Location

Spent 3 days staying at this guest house, central location and friendly staff. Staff try their best to fulfill the guest needs and happy to assist if you any problem. Nestled in central of malang city, offer free WIFI to keep you connecting from your devices. They provide breakfast in the morning with an extra $ if you booked the hotel with room only. I have to stay in for dinner because pouring at that night so i can't get out from the the guest house, They have an options menu for dinner in but the food come from the kertanegara restaurant not from the guest house itself, unfortunately and took 35 min to wait for delivery to the guest house this the only i have problem with otherwise i am happy stay again and would luv to come and stay in this guest house when back to Malang.

Pertama datang langsung tertarik dgn exterior gedungnya yg homy, setelah masuk makin terpesona dgn interior nya. Bukan seperti guest house pada umumnya ini seperti hotel berbintang, tempat tidur yg luas (king size), TV, AC, hair dryer, kamar mandi, amenities yg lengkap benar-benar seperti hotel

I got and inside room, overlooking a small court. It was comfortable. I actually spend more time at the room because I spend more time visiting places and dinning. Safety deposite box and small refrigerator are now the standard in many hotels. The breakfast was good. I usually request to make me fried eggs. There is a mall near by with 400 meters from the hotel. Staff are nice and helpful. My stay with this hotel is great. I am happy and satisfied.
