"Fantastic location and stunning decor!!! The spa was amazing, their relaxation room and the view there is a must see! All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are well kept with lots of spaces to relax, sit down and enjoy the view. Lots to do/occupy your time. All in all, great getaway, worth the money! I would definitely return for a longer stay (also don't forget to go into the Ystad city center! it's charming!)."

"4 star price, 3 star standard I stayed in a single room for one night. Entrance and staircases: amazingly beautiful. Room overall: clean and looks ok although very standard and quite boring interior. Big window with light-blocking curtains. No safe, kettle, coffee or tea in the room. No closet, but a drawer that I don't believe anyone uses except for putting their purse and phone on top of. Bed: good mattress, two pillows. No extra pillow or blanket in the room. Bathroom: clean and functional except for the shower where only the overhead rain shower works. The hand-held shower is blocked (twist the on/off handle one way - the overhead shower starts, but it's not possible to turn the handle the other way. Overhead shower never gives plus points since half the population does not want to wet their hair every time they shower. No hairdryer. Staff: friendly and helpful. Wifi: low/medium. You get a much better online experience via mobile network. Breakfast: the hotel is strict about booking your breakfast slot. The number of choices were 3 star, the quality of what was served was 4 star. Final verdict: although I enjoyed my stay, I don't feel that I really got my money's worth. If I come back to Ystad I will choose another hotel."

"This was a very pet friendly hotel, and it was really convenient to be able to go downstairs and next door to the cafe for breakfast. Breakfast was okay. I've had better and I've had worse. Good news, if you want better coffee or a meal, restaurants are everywhere. The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of town right in the middle of everything. Really excellent dining and a nice park very nearby. Also, reasonable parking. We went in the offseason so it was extremely quiet at night. My only concern was that I wanted my little veranda to be a little bit more useful-- it was nice to be able to open the veranda door, but I didn't dare step out on it or let my dog step out on it, there were some broken boards. The woman who was working the reception desk was very kind! I would stay here again if this met my needs like it did this time!"

"We stayed in the smallest room and it was very small due to the dormer ceilings, which forced me to duck sometimes. The bathtub/ shower also had limited space for standing. That said, though, we loved the room. It was very cute and cozy and the bed was excellent. There was a love seat under the window and a bag with beach towels and a water bottle for our use. The breakfast was very good, with fresh squeezed orange juice available. The owner was so nice and helpful, and even carried our suitcases up the steep stairs. The location was perfect. We love places with character and this definitely has it!"
