"What a lovely place tonstay. We were here for 5 nights from Australia ti spend time with our friends . The room was very comfortable and spacious. Plenty if tea and coffee amenities. The pub is also very nice we had lunches and dinners there could not fault it at all. The staff are all really lovley "

"The swan is a lovely historic hotel, service and food were both very good , all staff were really helpful and attentive, we had to leave early but this is in no way a reflection of our stay , we had a lovely time while we were there "

"Loads of character, lovely spacious bedroom, friendly staff. Comfortable bed but a bit low for elderly or disabled. "

"Very good value and service. Beware if you are relying on satnav to locate. Because of busgates it took a bit of finding. Council pay and display parking nearby but overnight only to 5am however street parking available after 6pm."

"Got to the place in the evening due to catching up with friends, greeted by the staff warmly, felt at ease as soon as we got there, sign in was easy and quick, and one of the staff was brilliant even offered to take our bag to our room. The room was gorgeous, nice and spacious with a TV, tea and coffee, and bottles of water. Bath and shower was great. The beds were comfortable and there was extra pillows and a blanket, which we used."
