Excellent kitchen but if you want to self-cater stock up before you come because the local shops are 20mins away and limited. "We arrived late and the key had been left for us but unfortunately we did not see it and pressed the bell. Despite waking the owners at 1am, we were forgiven for our mistake and the check in process went smoothly. The hotel is high up on the outskirts of Agia Pelagia with amazing views. "What a lovely break - we haven’t been on holiday in over 4 years.. this was the perfect one back! It was super relaxing, the all inclusive food was always interesting and had a large range to choose from. The staff (especially in the restaurant) where wonderful I believe his name was Sofkolis (apologies if wrong) was a star, he already knew what drinks we wanted as we were arriving. A lovely place for a relaxing break!"

"Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."
