"We were astonished as soon as we walked into this unit. It was on the 12th floor right on the harbour and the view is incredible. You can easily see where it gets is name from. The unit was in immaculate condition and so spacious for us and our 4 other friends. A real gem and rare find in Europe. It had large bedrooms with king beds and ensuites in every bedroom! "Apartment itself wasn't bad but the stairwell to get to the apartment had a few dead roaches lying around that weren't cleaned up until the 4th day of our stay. Also, there was a problem with water collecting at just upon entering the apartment of the floor which was a slip hazard. The water remained present throughout our stay. There was mold on the wall in the entrance hallway probably related to the standing water. Lastly we weren't to thrilled to find a roach in the walk in shower on the...

"It is located very close to the action , old building,sand stone wall, make it very unique. The only thing is the noise from the street, looks like it is next to a busy street, cars driving by never stop, the old building has no way to block the noise,The only time quiet will be from 12am to 5 am. If you don't mind the noise, this is a good unique place to stay"

"Great location to use as a base and communication from the property hosts was good. The word ‘luxury’ should not be used to describe this property. The sofa, cushions and curtains were all stained. The sunbeds around the pool were disgusting. The ceiling in the bedroom had patches of mould. The air con turned off after 45 mins and the boiler leaked twice. We also had a problem with ants with no solution offered. "

"Property was interesting and comfortable, however, for people with mobility issues I would not recommend it, too many steps. The property needs a mirror near an electrical plug so one can dry hair. No electric shaving ability. It’s a good location if the weather is hot. It’s a bit of a walk from the centre of activities, but not far. Overall, comfortable and pretty well equipped."

"The location is very convenient, and we walked all over easily. The rooms are spacious and bright, very well appointed. The host provided easy access and answered questions promptly. We highly recommend the Carmelita and Valletta as a place to visit."
