"This is a standout hotel in Japan. It’s 3 months old and the website does it not justice. The hotel and grounds are spectacular, the facilities (spa, gym, lounges, restaurants) are beautiful. We stayed in a room the size of an apartment, with both an indoor and out hot spa. The hotel manager has 15+ years of experience at Ritz hotel and brings the shame charm, insight and guest experience to the Gora Kadan Fuji. The entire team were delightful, including the wonderful driver who waited for us...

"We really enjoyed our traditional Japanese room complete with our own private onsen. There is very little English spoken at the hotel but a lot of effort put into ensuring we were comfortable. It is a 20 minute walk from the train station but that was fine and a nice relaxing way to end the day. There is also a hotel shuttle but it is very crowded so we opted to walk instead. We booked the half board (breakfast and dinner) with our stay and it was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food...

"The same breakfast at two days in a row. Considering the amount I paid for, the breakfast was poor.
I wish one dinner with Japanese styles and the other with Western style. Two dinners in Western styles were not so much excited."

"Beautiful hotel high up over looking the sea. We had a corner room with a panoramic view of the sea. The breakfast was traditional Japanese. There is a free bar, free soft drinks, and tea and coffee. The onset is wonderful and the host was very accommodating. The host took us to the train station at the end of a wonderful stay. "
