"This is a very clean hotel. The staff try very hard to keep it that way. The location was great for us. Right across the road was Chinatown with a plethora of restaurants and take out food shops. Ten minutes walk took us to the harbour with gardens and sites. There is a tour bus stop right in front of the hotel. Also a airport bus stop. Our only complaint was the beds were too firm and the pillows too soft. "

"Starting with the good: Great value hotel with lots of facilities. Room was quiet, spacious, and clean, and came with a fantasic view. The gym was well-equipped. I did not use the onsen or pool so cannot comment. The bad: it's a very dated hotel, whilst the room itself was pleasant, the en-suite bathroom and kitchenette were old. Really old; very tired with age-related decay setting in (think peeling laminate from chipboard furniture, UV-tainted plastics, etc). I'd have a guess and say they...
