Could not praise this location enough, besides the long hike uphill if you are dropped off at the local station. The scenery is breathtaking, the hotel was wonderful, the amenities and accommodation the hotel/staff provide is outstanding. The breakfast buffet had an array of delicious items to choose from while providing a lovely view of nature. Same goes for the room, plenty of space, clean. If I am ever in Hakone, I will definitely be returning.

We unfortunately only stayed for one night but the property was awesome and staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us to send our bags to Kyoto since traveling in and out of Hakone is a little difficult with 4 large bags. Overall amazing hotel, room was beautiful/clean and the breakfast and dinner buffet was so good. Absolutely recommend if you’re staying in Hakone.

We specifically booked a room with the private bath located on the 4th floor. We came by car and there's free parking. Valet was very friendly, front desk staff are also friendly with decent English knowledge. The included dinner and breakfast buffet was outstanding. It is absolutely worth coming here for a trip in Hakone, especially if you prefer a private bath.
