This is a lovely place to stay, the breakfasts are amazing and the gardens are lovely as are the rooms. Jack and Mary Ellen are fantastic hosts and really make you welcome. Can not recommend enough!

I would stay in our original accommodation but I found it small so we upgraded to a room with a king bed and fireplace. Glad we did. It was amazing. The views are fantastic on a clear day. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay there, massive room, nicely decorated, very comfortable huge bed. Nice terrace to sit out and enjoy the unexpected last minute sunshine. And to top it all, a great breakfast! For the money it was excellent.

What a wonderful hotel, of our trip to New England, this was probably our biggest (wonderful) surprise. It's just a joyous place.
The room was wonderful, the staff in the bar and restaurant were amazing and the location is just truly wonderful.
The reception staff when we checked on, were professional, but very disimterested and were more interested in themselves and their chat, but, it was a minor irritation in a wonderful stay.
The restaurant serves great food and wine too, was busy, book...
