We loved staying here it is very central and we loved being able to walk everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The bar was convenient we did not use the breakfast so we aren’t too sure of the options but it’s a great location that is very central and walkable to different destinations. If you go here we recommend making a trip to Bold Street Coffee and Maki & Ramen.
Hi the hotel is located in a central location. Close to trams and train stations. Excellent for exploring the city. The rooms are basic but work well for a few nights. Recommend!
It was a very friendly and well maintained great area to check Manchester out easy to get around, room had a fridge, helpful for wine, but not tea/coffee, but bar was helpful and there was a hairdryer. Plus lovely big bath sheets beds comfy, for the money excellent 👌
This is presented on Expedia as a much better quality hotel than it is. In fact it's a hostel, but this is not made clear on the site. The room was adequate but had chips and marks on the walls and furniture, and there was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke.
Check in is app based only with very little help when things go wrong, hotel corridor was filthy, carpet full of dirt and stains, hallway at lift full of dirty laundry trolleys, room was fine but there was holes in the base sheet and no drink making facilities, WC made loud knocking noise when flushed which the people in the next room must have loved, noise from street below was awful all through the night, will give this hotel a miss next time I stay in Manchester
Very basic service and accommodation. Room was just about presentable and clean. Poorly maintained with some minor repairs needed.
I had requested a room in the main building but on arrival was told this was not possible. No apology; just told they were full.
Communal areas of building 2 (not the main building) in need of refitting and redecoration and frankly grubby.
On the plus side, location is quiet and access to central areas of interest is easy and transport free.
