"Shame Gotham has been sold to Leonardo. Hopefully the hotels style and glamour will remain following the renovations. Gotham was a unique hotel in terms of design and charisma."

"Hotel was lovely with many quirky features in public areas and the room. Loved the air conditioning. Friendly staff who very helpful. Understood hotel is reasonably old so wheelchair access was to the rear of the building but exterior was in a graffiti street which felt a bit unsafe. Front of hotel was bright and lively. "

"The bar and eating area above the bar as you enter was very unique. The extra areas made for sitting and eating was very cool. The upstairs bar/balcony was so beautiful! Everything about this hotel amazed us. The room we stayed in was a 2 story room with a balcony looking over the living room area. It was very awesome and had a rustic feel to it. We fell in love with every aspect of this hotel! It made our honeymoon the best."

"The staff were absolutely amazing, so welcoming and trusting and went out of their way to make me feel extra special. Would defo stay there again. Also bed was extra extra big which made it so much more enjoyable. Well done team xx Richard Gray"

"Always loved The Mal for its quirkiness, 17yo daughter was impressed. Cool decor, DJ in the bar, comfy rooms with air con. Only quibble is there was only 1 very flat pillow per bed, daughter nabbed the spare, i could have done with another and Im sure they would have provided but we were tired and i cluldnt be bothered to ask! Some better quality pillows wouldn't go amiss. Bedside tables a little tired looking and a spot behind the bathroom door had not been cleaned. "
