"This is THE place to stay in Tobermory if you're visiting. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. They know the spots to visit and the places to go, and are helpful at every step of the way. The rooms are clean and extremely well put together. "The cabin itself was a little run down and obviously needed work inside, but the situation right on the lake was beautiful. "

"Room was neat and clean, staff was welcoming, and hot tub was good. However, reception stays close night and don't open until 8 or 9am. In case if you need help, no one is there. Only one microwave shared by many rooms. It look like there's a good sitting arrangement in the garden. however, in reality, sofas and chairs were wet and extremely dirty. Overall, its good experience for a night but wasn't pleasant. "

"Room was very cold when I arrived, but 15 minutes with the heat on fixed that. Heater was loud, but manageable. Fine staff, easy check-in. With a bit of work the room could be elevated from OK to good."

"The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The heat was turned up high when I got there and the room was too warm. But I solved that by using the ac for outside air. Could not get hot water in my room but overall a 4 out of 5."

Check-in was quick and smooth, which I really appreciated. The staff were great—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. It’s clear that the new management is doing an excellent job keeping things organized and running well. Overall, a very positive experience, and I’d happily stay here again."
