"Beware! After check in, I went to the desk to report my AC. They said someone was coming. I waited an hour and a half and went back. They changed my room. I drove to the beach (1.5 miles) and found that I couldn’t park in the lot. $10 to park up the road. The hotel was dingy, old and in bad need of renovations. Smelled like mold. I packed up and left. Don’t let the pretty pool fool you. There were only 3 families in the entire hotel. I KNOW WHY."

"Everyone was so helpful. They let us write to the place we were staying. It was a little difficult to find the office when you see the physical sign walk up the path and you’ll see it right there. "This was an excellent place to stay and the breakfast was amazing. Just be aware our room was right next to the road so there was a bit of traffic noise. Also, the only lock is the keypad. There is no secondary swing lock inside of the room to keep someone from entering. Otherwise it is a very beautiful boutique hotel."

"A lovely, peaceful hideaway near Jaco. The breakfast buffet was delicious and it was dreamy swimming amid the forest canopy. The staff were friendly and helpful providing us with bikes & information about local buses, etc. The only issue we had was being locked out after the front desk closed at 9:30 pm."

"My wife and I loved Clarita’s. The property is prestine and newly remodeled. The downstairs cafe/bar and sushi restaurant were excellent. The ocean views and sunsets were incredible either on the beach or the rooftop deck. It was truly a magical experience. Additionally, the rooms and bathrooms were roomy and super clean and the toilets! Japan style they were honestly a game changer. "Can’t beet the free breakfast, the rooms are very spacious I travel with wife and two kids and having three beds was great. The pool was good to cool down. Overall is great for the price. The beach is a minute walk the waves are very high but we drove to near by beaches which are more calm to swim. Mantas beach, Herradura beach and Playa Blanca. The only negative I see is there is no pool towels you will have to pay."
