"This is a lovely place that we picked because of its proximity to Kilimanjaro Airport. We only stayed one night but I would be happy to stay longer if we were going to be in the area. I liked the bush-like appearance of the grounds. Everything was top-notch. Food was great. As to seeing the mountain--not in the cards that day. I highly recommend the facility"

"Our stay at AMEG was fabulous. Staff were courteous and friendly. The food was outstanding and the junior suite gave us lots of room to spread out and relax. We used AMEG for a base to do day trips to Kilimanjaro including a day hike and back to the Mandura Huts and to the Materuni Village and Waterfall. "Don't let the ride there dictate what you're going to think of the hotel because trust me the right there is really brutal but it is so so so so so worth it extremely beautiful the hotel itself is exceptional staff are very good I greatly enjoyed it I would show you some of the pictures but apparently there's no way to do that but I'm telling you it's worth it"
