Disliked: Check-in, communication
We booked the “large room” category, which promised 100 sqm, but about half of that was outdoor terrace space, so the actual room was much smaller than expected.
Location-wise, we were placed all the way at the bottom of the property near the highway, not around the main complex as we’d hoped. On top of that, the WiFi didn’t work at all in our building, while it apparently worked fine elsewhere on the property, which made this particular block feel even more neglected. The terrace facing the front was fairly bare but at least had some chairs. The back, however, felt like a prison yard, surrounded by high concrete walls built into the hillside.
The room itself was clean, though housekeeping didn’t come every day. The bathroom was modern, which was a plus, but overall the furnishing felt very impersonal and cheap. We also found dirty dishes left in the room at one point. Breakfast was very basic, edible, but nothing more.
The biggest letdown was the service. Communication at check-in and check-out was poor. At check-out, nobody even asked whether our stay had been okay. For the price point, this all felt quite underwhelming.
