"Country location. Staff were great. Property going through a managed decline as far as decor etc, if honest we wouldn’t go back. Restaurant closed on 2nd night of our half board stay, a member of staff cooked us a meal it wasn’t a meal we would have chosen, a take it or leave it, but we were the only ones fed. The bar was also closed, others had to make their own arrangements. I was told Staff were off that night as required to work at a event the next day."

"Lovely old rustic farmhouse, full of character, quiet & comfortable. The unmade road is fine if you follow the instructions given and drive slowly. Hosts were very friendly, as were all the dogs! Had dinner on the first night which was excellent (soup, meatballs, chocolate dessert), then sat in the main house lounge by the fire - very relaxing! "This hotel is in a great location, breakfast was amazing and afternoon tea a lovely touch, however we had room 10 which was above reception and the hotel entrance so was quite noisy with people returning early hrs and delivery’s being dropped off some days before 6am, we did speak to reception but unfortunately they had no rooms free to move us, I would return to this hotel however I would request a room at the back. If you are a deep sleeper I’m sure you would have no problems. Staff friendly...
