COVID-19 may have changed the way we travel, but it hasn't deterred our love of exploring. Here are a few tips on how to navigate the new challenges of travelling:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in a flight. Also check if there are any conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as undergoing health assessments.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, even at screening checkpoints. Be ready to adjust your mask for ID verification when asked.
• Instead of handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, place it straight on the reader yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA now permits passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will have to be removed from your bag for scanning.
• Remove personal items from your pockets, like your keys, phone and wallet, and put them in your carry-on instead of into bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• If you're taking food through the screening checkpoint, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
