The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was great, the breakfast was great and the place was quiet. I did not give it five stars because the bathroom fan was automatic and never turned off and the water in the shower shower probably took at least 30 minutes to get warm- which is crazy because the Monterey area is big on saving water.

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel with my family because the location is great, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When it was time to go to sleep, I discovered that the bed in our room was clearly dirty. The sheets had a noticeable amount of lint, hair, and what looked like crumbs. There was no way my family and I could sleep in that bed. At 11:00 PM, I had to go back down to the front desk to report the issue. While we were moved to another room, the interaction with the front desk was disappointing. There was no sincere apology or real effort to acknowledge how unacceptable the situation was. I had also asked what compensation they could offer for the inconvenience and the girl at the front desk said that the room change was the compensation…? It felt like they didn't care to make it right, which was incredibly frustrating. The second room wasn't much better. Although the sheets were cleaner than the first room, the bed was extremely loud - every small movement was obnoxiously noisy. On top of that, the room had a strange, musty smell that made our stay uncomfortable. Overall, I was unhappy with the lack of cleanliness, but what disappointed me the most was the poor customer service from the front desk. Clean rooms and basic empathy should be the bare minimum. I won’t recommend this hotel to friends/family and I won’t stay here again.

Clean rooms, have basic necessities like plates, cups, things to prep a meal ( no stove) and big fridge, microwave. great for stay with kids. They especially loved the indoor pool, since we stayed in Jan. Breakfast was also good for travel with kiddos. Located in a lovely new area with great store options like Trader Joe’s, target and others. Restaurants and shopping movie theaters. Tesla superchargers. Great stay, will definitely be back when visiting Monterey

It’s a very clean hotel that has no problem giving extra towels, the breakfast is good but only goes until 9 AM (I wish 10 AM), parking was very easy, and the pool is heated!!!! Overall, this is definitely a 10 out of 10 properly

The room was immaculate and wherever you walked in property it smelled SO CLEAN! We stayed Monday-Saturday. The breakfast was yummy and the lines were normally quick and efficient except for on Thanksgiving morning, when there was a long wait. They ran out of plates but quickly brought in paper plates and bowls. The rest of the week there was never a problem with having enough utensils/bowls for breakfast. The indoor pool was a nice amenity and the jacuzzi was kept running at a nice temperature-hot enough an not too cold like at other hotels. The front desk had games you could check out and there was 24 hour coffee and tea. The in-room kitchenette was convenient: fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and dishwasher. Note-there was NO STOVETOP, which can be misleading as it is labeled a kitchen. We got around that by using the bbq to cook steaks and veggies and microwaved some sides. Great place for an extended day. Would likely take a cast-iron for the next visit, so we can cook more options. Since daily breakfast was part of the cost, only had to figure out lunch and dinner, which was a huge plus. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a lovely stay — the location and atmosphere were wonderful. The only challenge we experienced was with our dog. Since the place is listed as pet-friendly, we were expecting at least a small grassy area. Because there was no grass around, it was difficult for our dog to go potty outside. We understand the area naturally doesn’t have much grass, but adding a small pet relief spot would make it much more convenient for guests with pets.

Enjoyed our clean and spacious 1-bedroom suite with a balcony and beautiful views of the area. We appreciated the variety offered at breakfast, and the location was excellent with shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend this property! Small note: We didn’t use the kitchen, but noticed there was no stovetop and no dishwashing soap available.
