"We didn’t expect to visit Palermo but since our flight out of Catania was cancelled we booked this last minute and it was perfect. Such a sweet, charming place and very close to the airport. They offer transfers to the airport as well, even at 4am! We were not able to enjoy the free breakfast but it looked lovely. "The building is modern and well maintained. Our room was large, clean and the air con nice and quiet. Best asset is it has a outside pool, which are rare in Central Palermo. The downside was the pool was on the roof with no shade and no umbrellas. Unless you like being roasted alive, you can only use the pool area early or late in the day. You are also required to buy a swimming cap to go in the pool. A taxi from the centre of town to the hotel cost us €25 but there are buses to the railway...
