"Close to Blue Ridge and places to eat."

"I was thankful to find a place to stop as we ran through bad weather. It was okay. The beds were nice and clean. The room was on the small side. The tv fridge were good. The bathroom looked rough and towels had some staining. They provided two towels for five people but they gave us a third when we asked. I don’t know that the hotel is worth what I paid. It looked like a 70 dollar per night room on the side of the road. But I paid way more. The breakfast was just cereal and yogurt. My kids were...

"Due to the nature of the retreat… there was no face-to-face contact w the staff but they responded promptly to text or call. Our cottage at Mitchell 2 had an excellent view of Mt Mitchell east side."

"Great setting and smooth check-in Parking is easy and the help yourself continental breakfast was sufficient to get the day going"

"Property is in a very beautiful area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was good size with balcony looking out over mountains. Dinner was good. Portions are large."

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

"Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. "

"Perfect for a short stay. Close to the Blue Ridge and lots of hikes"

"Fabulous Hampton Inn located so well within walking distance of charming and booming Black Mountain with restaurants and shops and artisan galleries. Easy drive to Asheville as well and the room rate was 40% less than properties just minutes away. Quiet with great service and friendly staff at the check in desk as well as the breakfast area. It is worthy of the 10 out of 10 rating it has received..."

"Very clean. Functional, clean well designed bathroom. Friendly happy helpful staff."

"Clean room staff was friendly and helpful."

"We had a room over the breakfast area and the pool which was noisy in the morning and a little strange having a window viewing the indoor pool."

"was disappointed that Expedia booked us in a 2nd floor room when I specifically asked for ground floor. front desk move us the next day."

"Excellent retreat location"

"The basics were met. HVAC worked well, it did not run and run and room held temp. Keurig in lobby available at all times. Liked old school bedding; duvets at lots of hotels make you a sweaty mess but not their covers. I would not highly rate bathroom. Quality of soap and shampoo dispensers are low. The bathroom walls dated and worn and the toilet paper dispenser is hanging on by a thread. There is a large gap at bottom of our room, 103, making it easy for the spider that was in our bed to get in...

"Very nice facilities and room, and very comfortable bed! Great location!"
