"We loved our stay. Two adults and our eight-year-old son took a weekend trip to Chicago. This hotel was very close to the field museum and walking distance to magnificent mile. Short Uber ride to nearby shopping and Willis Tower. The staff were awesome and upgraded our room at a low price. We felt very safe and staff were very helpful. "The bartender was fantastic ! All of the staff was amazing ! The rooms “all season “ system was not great because it was 45 degrees Friday night and 80 on Saturday so the room was freezing Friday night and so hot Sunday !!! Other than that the hotel was historically beautiful!! "

"The unit we received needs some taking care of- the walls had finger prints on them, bathroom walls looked even worse, bedroom carpet had some red stains on it, couch cover had a lot of dog fur on it which made sitting on it quite uncomfortable. Shower gel dispenser did not work. "

"The men that ran the bar in the evening were friendly. Those were the only people that spoke with us and engaged in friendly conversation. All other staff were to themselves. I love the modernist to the hotel. Plenty spots for great photos. The outside portion was closed off because winter but there were still plenty hang and take photo spots. The food from the bar was good also. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at the Palmer Hotel and definitely book next year again for The Great Lace event. The service was very cordial, my room was ready before check in, and I received a few complimentary snacks and amenities. I will say the only thing that would give me pause is the WiFi technically cost money (I received a promotion code this time) and the little fridge with drinks and snacks are classified as a mini bar so you will have to pay for these items.
