"The property itself was a lovely upstairs room, generous in size and very close to the rail station with a direct line to Edinburgh. We had a two night stay and found the bed to be very comfortable. A generous soak bath tub is in the main bedroom. Little snacks were a pleasant gift. "We had a wonderful stay here as the last stop of our trip before going back to the U.S. They complimentary upgraded us for our 10th wedding anniversary. I was sick and this was a wonderful place to heal and recover. The room was amazing - so spacious and the bathroom immaculate. The staff were all so so friendly and the location was perfect. The hotel was one of my favorite parts of this trip."

"The hotel is beautiful. The temperature inside the hotel is warm, considering the cold and rainy Edinburgh weather, the people cannot do enough for you, and it’s in a great location. The only problem is outside the hotel, it’s very busy because there’s the train stop right there and the bus stop but you’re centrally located so that is great.
