"Staff went out of their way to help me with my bags, the room was really lovely and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the beach. Location was amazing. Be aware that it is a venue for live music, the Sunday night I stayed the band was playing downstairs until about 11pm. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"Great location. Great property. The only thing thats missing is probably bottled water. Tap water is drinkable but will be good to at least have complimentary 2 bottles a day. There is a main supermarket across the street so it was no problem at all. Aircon not the strongest at times but we managed. "

"I had to stop someone entering my room at 7 am. The person was not a cleaner and opened my door with a key They apologised and said sorry wrong room and left The door could only be opened by key "

"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "

"Great location and the room was clean but that’s about as far as the positives go. The room was very outdated with a tiny bathroom and the tap kept falling off while trying to adjust the shower temperature. Felt more like a backpackers than a hotel. The key for the front door is easily accessible to the general public if you know where to look and the rooms didn’t lock from the inside. We thought the hotel looked quirky from the photos but it needs some serious TLC."

"Quiet, clean, and comfortable. In walking distance to public transport and has great coffee just downstairs. Surrounded by green and walkable. Only slight downsides were the light blocking curtains weren’t 100% effective (lots of street light) and the credit card hold takes ages to release."

"The team were very helpful and accommodating rooms are very nice but the only issue i had was some spider webs on the roof but that doesnt bother me but otherwise very happy and recommended One Golbal Resort Green Square as a great hotel to stay its also great the train station right there and you can get kfc or maccas which is in the infinity square and have a Woolworths Metro nearby A+"
