The room and the Riad was beautiful it was just the authentic experience we were looking for. We had two private patio areas to relax on a morning or evening. Travelling as a group of two Mums with their teenage daughters we were hesitant if Morocco was the right choice for us but had a great time. The riad team kept in touch with us by what’s app and ordered our airport transfers. This was fantastic as we would have struggled to find the road on our own without internet. They came out to meet us and took our bags. We were welcomed with mint tea and they kept the restaurant open late for us so we could eat dinner when our flight was delayed.
They helped us with directions, excursions and friendly advice without any pressure.
The breakfast was different each day with lots of options. We stayed for three nights and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, the streets outside are very busy but everyone is friendly and will help you if you get directions confused. I used a foreign esim for three days and google maps which worked well.
If you are sensitive to noise there is a mosque close by and you can hear the early call to prayer so take some ear plugs however not all of our group heard it.
Don’t forget to spend all your local currency before you leave as airport shops don’t accept it only the restaurants ( which also don’t have alcohol )
