Posizione ottima se si vuole vivere a pieno la vita della Medina; personale accogliente, gentile e sempre disponibile; la comunicazione risulta più che facile se si conosce anche solo l’inglese. Pulizia impeccabile e colazione abbondante. Tuttavia, la camera prenotata non corrispondeva a quella consegnata al momento del Check-in.

Ambiente auténtico y servicio muy bueno.

Muy auténtico, antigua vivienda de familia acomodada restaurada. Pequeño y acojedor (como una casa rural pero en el centro del casco antiguo). Personal del hotel muy amable, de trato entrañable e informal. Comida autóctona excelente.

異國風情，值得一住

位於清真寺的小巷中，計程車沒辦法開進去，會停在巷口，一下車有人會想來幫你帶路，但是他們是想要小費，步行到廣場有一段距離，大概15-20分鐘，但是整段路都位於市場、市集當中不會無聊，旅館外觀不明顯，旅館裡面裝飾精緻，很有摩洛哥風情，一進入旅館會端來薄荷茶，滿好喝的，房間格局很長，浴室大又乾淨，熱水夠熱，早餐比較基本，茶或咖啡搭配摩洛哥餅以及果醬奶油，有一個黑人小姐服務人員英語不通，只會說法文，溝通有困難，第一晚老闆不在，一直問不到WIFI密碼，老闆似乎是義大利人，英文可以溝通，最後一天帶我們到沙漠團集合處，人還不錯。

Carefree stay in hectic Marrakesh

Hamid and his team are there to make your stay perfect! No question or request is too much. Very friendly! The hotel is small but cosy, clean and comfortable. Communication in English is easy. Location, in the north of the Medina, is perfect. The build of the hotel is a bit noisy, but with a bit of consideration by all, it is no nuisance.

Come un buon frutto... Fuori, ma dentro.....

Abbiamo prenotato una suit e abbiamo avuto una camera standard fredda( la notte erano fuori circa 5 g) e dentro poco di più ... La colazione scarsissima, peccato perché il Riad é molto bello!!

STAY AWAY!!!!

I cannot really comment on the hotel because they decided to OVERBOOK and left me without a room. The staff that I talked to was very rude and pretty much didn't care where we went. They kept assuring me that I would not pay "additional charges" for the riad that they suggested. They didn't even have the decency to send me an email about the situation. I had to figure it out from the person they sent out to retrieve me from the taxi. I cannot express this more. Don't leave your decision up to them. I was on the other side of the world without a place to stay. Please seek another riad or hotel!!!!

Leider ist es scheinbar oft der Fall, daß das kleine Riad bewusst überbucht wird. Trotz Vorabbezahlung hatten wir die erste Nacht kein Zimmer und mussten in ein anderes Riad. Am Besten kurz vorher die Buchung nochmal telefonisch vom Riad bestätigen lassen! Ansonsten ist es sehr zu empfehlen! Ein uriges, sehr gemütliches Riad, nettes Personal, leckere Küche!

Absolute nightmare!

We'd reserved 2 rooms through Expedia. On arrival, they were only expecting us to have one room, but said the second one would be ready in 20 minutes (2 hours later, it still wasn't). The one room that they showed us to had the electric socket hanging off the wall with loose wires sticking out. We pointed it out, they promised it would be fixed in 20 minutes (3 days later they hadn't touched it). That night we did get our two rooms, one of them lovely but both freezing cold. The next night they moved all our belongings from one room to an attic room (also freezing cold), without asking us. The bed had a spot of blood on the sheet! The final straw came the next morning, when they informed us the manager's family had all arrived to stay and we would have to relocate to another hotel. Expedia were great, they managed to sort out a refund for us and got the hotel to pay the taxi fare to a different hotel, which we booked ourselves. Even the taxi journey was a nightmare, the manager had us sitting in a taxi for 20 minutes waiting for the driver, who eventually appeared with another family and their luggage, and told us to get out of the car and find another taxi. All in all, a dreadful experience.

Très bon séjour

Très bon séjour dans ce Riad avec un accueil très chalereux et revenant. Les chambres sont très charmantes. L'hotel est idéalement placé en bordure de souk, proche de la medersa Ben Youssef et de la maison de la photographie. De plus proche des restaurants conseillés dans les guides. Je conseil

Riad affascinante alle porte del souk

Come tutti i riad nella medina, difficile da trovare se non accompagnati da qualche locale (a pagamento :-( ). Molto curato ma è difficile comunicare con i dipendenti. Ottimo collegamento wi-fi.

Great location in the old medina

Finding the hotel in the maze of narrow medina streets was an adventure - despite saying he knew where it was, our airport taxi driver airport gave up and dropped us nearby asking passersby to show us the way. We relied on tablet technology to guide us, but be careful as some websites have this hotel in the wrong place (but expedia has it correct). You should pre-arrange transport through the riad if uncomfortable wandering the streets and asking directions. The entrance door is easy to miss, but nearby shopkeepers will help you. The interior architecture of the central courtyard is stunning (and surprisingly cool in the middle of summer), the surrounding rooms are well fitted and comfortable (if perhaps a little compact - and beware of steps), and there is a rooftop terrace. Breakfast was simple but more then ample and very tasty and the rooms have air conditioning. There is free WIFI in the building (no password needed). Others have commented on the noise - we had no problem from other guests but I can see how loud voices from the courtyard would be heard from the rooms, as can the early morning call-to-prayer via loudspeaker from the nearby Ben Youssef mosque at 3.40 am (but this is part of the Marrakech experience). You will need to knock to get access to the hotel each time you return to the riad, and I found having some French useful with communication, but the staff are very friendly and helpful, and arranged a taxi at the front door at 4 am to catch my flight.

Nice little Riad in a heart of old Medina

The rooms are quite small but I think this is the case with most of the riads in Marrakesh. The rooms are placed on two floors around the inside courtyard (with a lovely fountain) so if other guesst come down for a cigarette you can smell the smoke in your room! The same applies to other guests having late evening or early morning meals/conversation in the courtyard - you will hear every single word in your room. Apart from that, the Riad is very beautiful and the staff if very polite and helpful. Dar Alhambra has a very nice terrace with a beautiful view over the city and Atlas Mountains.

Märchen aus 1001 Nacht in Marrakesh

Unser Aufenthalt im Riad Dar Alhambra in Marrakesh vom 7.-9.11.2013 war ein Traum! Ein kleines Hotel mit großen luxuriösen Zimmern in prunkvollem arabisch-marrokanischem Stil und einem herzensguten Personal (Aziza und Fatma)sowie einem effizientem,freundlichen Geschäftsführer (Mr. Hamid) in der Altstadt in ruhiger Lage in Fußweite zu Souk und Djemma el Fnaa machten unseren Kurzurlaub zu einem einmaligen Erlebnis. Das Riad ist absolut empfehlenswert!
