Beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of a very hectic Marrakech. Wonderful, helpful staff. An absolutely beautiful room. Delicious breakfast made us feel like royalty. A little bit daunting upon first arrival… you need to walk a block through the very active Medina, can be a little intimidating.

Riad Kniza was, hands down, one of the best hotel experiences of my life. Here are just a sampling of reasons why: the friendly and attentive staff, clean and cold pool for after a hot walk, coffee delivered to the room in minutes, lovely hammam massage, continental breakfast that I miss each morning now, tasty Casablanca beers, and comfortable lounging spaces in a beautiful garden area. Lovely Riad! Very luxurious, staff very attentive, and just gorgeously decorated. Some very thoughtful touches, and very helpful in organizing things around the city. Breakfast on the roof was lovely, which you can do before the day gets too hot. Some nights had a live musician in the courtyard which was cool. Only thing to be wary of is a few charges adding up - there are no irons or steamers in the building so only option is to pay to send things out for ironing, and they have a sauna but it's US$17 to turn on.

My wife had to point it out, but the idea of the Riad is to enjoy life the way that the owners had in the past. Its remarkable to go from the crazy business of the medina to the oasis of the Riad. The rooms were luxurious and the entire Riad was so calm and quiet. The breakfasts were incredible. Really enjoyed my stay

Perfect Hidden Gem an absolute must visit

Where to begin. The Riad Kniza is a hidden gem that is an absolute must if you are coming to Marrakesh. In the old town lots of thimgs to vosit only a walk away. We were welcomed by Fatina who was so friendly and helpful, our room was huge, spotlessly clean and a little bit of heaven. We had breakfast on the roof terrace every morning and all of the staff were so helpful and friendly. Cant recommend this Riad enough, i just wish we had time to stay longer.

A little piece of paradise

An incredible oasis of peace inside the hectic medina. After visiting this Riad, with its beautiful architecture and classy furniture, a visit to the palaces of the city (even the Madrasa) will look to be wasted time: you'll just want to stay into the Riad, relax and ejoy. Super recommended!

My recent stay at Riad Kniza was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their easy-going nature and eagerness to assist. They efficiently arranged our airport transfers, making our arrival and departure stress free. The breakfasts were a highlight - generous and delicious, with the added luxury of choosing to dine in our room, on the rooftop, or in the restaurant. Our room was spacious and meticulously cleaned twice a day, with fresh fruit and water replenished daily. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Hammam experience organised right in the Riad. Overall, Riad Kniza exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend it!

Although the rooms are impressive, this accommodation is far from a five star hotel. Is simply located in a dirty busy area of the medina and doesn’t have the space needed in the general areas in order to be half confortable. Doesn’t have a lift and is full of stairs and corridors. The rooms are dark, don’t have a terrace, the hot water takes ages to warm up, the tv needs a guide in order to work😂 although there is the roof terrace…the staff are nice and welcoming… they are also very tight with their charges…definitely overpriced for what you get in return…I wouldn’t be coming back to that Riad…I would come back to Marrakesh though…

the area outside the riad is probably the dirtiest in medina but then the riad is the best in medina so it's a tough call. would love to see the butcher shops move out of the area. the actual medina with shops selling artifacts etc are so nice.

This riad is a little perfect gem, an oasis of peace amidst the mad hustle and bustle of the medina. Stunning interiors, attentive and friendly service, gorgeous, oversized room and bathroom, with the most comfortable bed and pillows! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with mint tea and the best cookies we’ve ever had! A fruit platter was waiting for us in the room. A very nice breakfast was included in the price, served on the beautiful rooftop. The location was superb - with the main sites all within a 20 minute or less walk of the riad. I can’t recommend this place enough!!! It gets two thumbs up from me!

Brutal. Una vez llegamos con el taxi a la Bab Doukkala y nos adentramos en la medina, con el ajetreo de los puestos de comida en la calle, souvenirs, motos… entramos en el paraíso del Riad Kniza. Suelo viajar por trabajo en hotel de 5 estrellas y debo decir que ha sido el mejor alojamiento donde he estado en mi vida. Sin duda, volvería al mismo lugar.
