"The Hotel is a little out of town but the walk along the sea front is fine to get to restaurants. The reception staff and all others were very courteous and helpful. The room was spotless as were the majority of indoor areas. The pool could do with a bit of an update . It was clean though . The loungers weee not very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, wide range and well presented .
The only thing to mark it down is the presence of the owner sitting all day long sprawled in the foyer area. He presented as gruff and most unwelcoming he just sits for 8 hours in a chair . It is very odd."
"Exceptional stay in Marsala! Great location—-just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Memory foam mattresses and lots of space! Also a nice rooftop patio. We didn’t get the breakfast, but I believe it was served up there. Communication was clear and easy. Highly recommend!"
"We stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst exploring the Marsala area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The first thing to be aware of is that the location shown in Waze is not quite correct, so it’s worth double-checking directions before you arrive. Once there, you’ll find plenty of parking in a secluded car park surrounded by beautiful olive trees, which immediately creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The reception team were very friendly and welcoming. Although they spoke very little English, they had a great sense of humour and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Check-in was quick and we were soon shown to our room.
The room itself was spacious, modern, bright and airy. It was well equipped with a minibar, fridge and complimentary toiletries. We were also provided with both bath towels and separate pool towels, which was a nice touch.
Our ground-floor room was situated directly opposite the swimming pool. The pool was a lovely size, beautifully maintained and at a perfect temperature. There were plenty of sunbeds available and, during our stay, it felt like we had the entire pool area almost to ourselves.
Although we didn’t have the opportunity to try the restaurant, which had been highly recommended to us, we did enjoy breakfast there on both mornings. There was a good selection of fresh meats, cheeses, yoghurts, granola and pastries, all of which were fresh and enjoyable.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay."
"Staying at the Dome Hotel was a very special experience. It’s a family run hotel, and you can tell that the entire family and their staff care deeply about their guests’ time. Everyone went above and beyond to make our nine night stay as great as it could be. The breakfasts were next level and include designer pastries. The rooftop has the best view in town. And besides being a hotel, The Dome seemed to be at the centre of all of Marsala’s action - there was always an event on!
Thank you Giuseppe and team for making our time with you so memorable!"
Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo - Luxury Wine Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of options (the smoothies were made fresh on the spot - highly recommend getting one). Dining at the restaurant for dinner was a fantastic experience with some very tasteful wine recommendations from the sommelier and food recommendations from our server. Such a wonderful experience. The pool provided a truly peaceful atmosphere and was great for swimming and sunbathing. I am looking forward to visiting again soon."
"The room and bathroom were very clean. The manager went beyond expectation to meet our late check in and early check out for the airport. We didn't have time to try the pool and food however there was plenty on offer. The surrounding country side was tranquil and pretty."
