Great location, right across from the water. Along the water with lots of restaurant options. We came to la ciotat to visit the beautiful calanques which are just a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Perfect location, just what we needed. Great breakfast also! Comfortable beds, big rooms

Great location, easy to access transport options. Lots of restaurants nearby, short walk to nearest supermarket. Helpful and friendly staff. Wifi was terrible! No wifi by the pool or solarium, and sketchy connection in the room which kept dropping out. Rooms are not soundproof, slamming doors in the corridor, neighbours above were easily heard, screaming kids/motorcycles outside. I left tired and in desperate need of a good night's sleep!

Very noisy location in August

In many ways a fantastic location, good sized rooms looking out over the harbour, nice balconies. But the hotel should warn you before booking to stay in July and August that there is a market every night and the noise from that and the adjacent bars and restaurants is very loud and continues until 1am or 2am. I have never had such a disrupted night at any hotel. If I’d known, we would not have booked to stay here as we went on holiday for a rest. I asked at the desk for some ear plugs but they don’t provide them (not that they would have made much difference to the very loud live band playing until the early hours on Friday night). In other less touristy months this would be a fine place to stay in La Ciotat but it is not exceptional or even standout in my experience.

Nice stay on water in La Ciotat Old Port

Nice hotel in great location along the water. Excellent pool, lounge area and sauna. Good breakfast. Overall recommend staying here. The hotel is cooled to the same temperature, and thermostat in room is only used to control the fan speed (low, medium, high, auto). If air conditioning is "not working", it was likely shut off at the front desk and you have to ask to have it turned on. Not difficult but something you need to know to do. Housekeeping can be inconsistent, but bed always made, trash emptied and towels replaced if needed. Robes may or may not be provided, and consumables may not be replenished. Requests met though if you ask at front desk. The establishment stays quite busy, and most staff are very friendly and pleasant.

We arrived early from the States and could not check in, but luckily the outdoor pool was beautiful with a gorgeous view. They had cabana beds where we could relax and nap. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken. Check in time was strict for 3. The area is fabulous around the port for eats and drinks. On Sunday AM there was a market. Transportation to Cassis was easy. The ferry was not operating that day due to winds. The room was large and fabulous. The deck was large and relaxing. On the day we were leaving we noticed several items missing from our room. They investigated but we never heard from them again or had the items returned. Other than that, it was a great hotel.

the hotel is in an excellent location ands a very good room layout. The facilities are excellent and the staff very helpful so we were pleased with our choice of this hotel. The only issue was a musty damp smell in our room.

Best place to stay in La Ciotat

We loved this hotel. It’s in the perfect spot overlooking the harbour. Staff are all polite and helpful. The pool was amazing. Everything was clean and tidy. It was a comfortable enjoyable stay. We originally booked 5 nights but loved it so much we added another two nights. The hotel is in the middle of many eating places and within easy walk of a well stocked food store and a sandy beach.

The only place to stay in La Ciotat - superb!

Absolutely fabulous! Superb location, wonderful harbour views, gorgeous roof top pool. Choose a junior suite with harbour view if you can, it’s well worth the extra money. We stayed in room 308, gorgeous, spacious room with terrace and a great view. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, secure onsite parking with a cost but again worth the money. Wouldn’t hesitate to return….
