"Staff was not helpful"

"Location is inner city terrible. Drug crazed Homeless people out front. Front desk did not recognize Expedia prepaid room and refused to refund charge made to my credit card. Very shady operation. One look at the hotel lobby (about 100 square feet) and front desk completely behind billet proof glass and you will turn around and leave. Booked 2 rooms. TV in one room did not work, shower in the other room did not work. Park on the street (good luck) or a garage 3 blocks away. "

"We loved our stay at the Royal Sonesta. The location is perfect. Very close to the Inner Harbor, and walkable to Camden Yards, which is what we were there for. The room was spacious and comfortable."

There was complimentary water bottles provided, but one of them was partially consumed and already open. The linens and towels smelled like kettle corn. It was nice to have two restaurants accessible by the lobby: Ruth’s Chris and McCormick and Schmidt’s. I ended up staying in a different. "
