"We had a really lovely stay at Motsamai. It is such a beautiful, peaceful and quiet place, making it the perfect place to relax during our holiday in Bulawayo. ❤️ The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind and relax after a busy day exploring. The chef and her team were absolutely top-notch. The food was excellent, and you could really see the care and effort that went into everything they prepared for us. The housekeeping team were also fantastic. They kept everything clean and comfortable throughout our stay, and they even took care of our laundry beautifully. It was such a helpful service while we were travelling. What stood out most was how attentive everyone was to our needs as guests. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and we always felt welcomed and well looked after. Motsamai gave us exactly what we wanted from part of our holiday — peace, comfort, beautiful surroundings, great food and genuine hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Thank you to the whole Motsamai team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. 🇿🇼❤️"

"We had a wonderful stay at Churchill Hotel in Bulawayo and were genuinely very happy with our experience. ❤️ The location was excellent for our holiday, making it easy for us to explore Bulawayo and the surrounding area. We were conveniently located for our visits to Matobo National Park, the city centre, garden centres and other places we wanted to see. The food was one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing! The meals were delicious and really added to our overall experience. The staff were also fantastic. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and the team regularly checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and happy. What stood out to us most was how involved the manager was. She personally came over to have a chat with us, asked whether we were happy and whether we had any concerns, and we even saw her helping her staff. That personal touch really made us feel valued as guests. Overall, Churchill Hotel was a wonderful base for our Zimbabwe holiday. We enjoyed the location, the food, the friendly atmosphere and the excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Bulawayo. Thank you to the entire Churchill Hotel team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. 🇿🇼❤️"

"Nice hotel in the city centre, large room with balcony. Excellent value, we were a bit concerned about the low price but no need to be as safe and clean. There really is a pool and garden at the back. Some street noise in the evening but quiet at night. The quoted breakfast for two people costs almost as much as the room but we were offered a much cheaper option that was still very filling. We did not have dinner on Sunday night as some uncertainty about the chef being available but easy walk to KFC and a bottle of wine! On the second night we walked to the Bulawayo Club which I can strongly recommend for the atmosphere and excellent cheap food. The streets seem quite safe to walk in the early evening."

"Pleasant resort in isolated location close to Matobos National Park. Good value cabins with central restaurant on a large rock with good views. Power was off for much of our stay but generator in the evening. Restaurant has only large two course lunch and three course dinner. Reasonable choices and not too expensive but food wasted and we were allowed to share one dinner which was plenty for two people!"
