"Absolutely fantastic property. Messaging the owner was simple, with quick responses. Great neighborhood. Easy 5 minute walk (downhill) to shops, pubs and restaurants. A little longer (and more work) back up the hill. Extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. Easy to get to local estates and attractions. If renting a car, get the smallest you can as the streets in and around Bakewell are very narrow. Would rent again!"
"There was a mixup with the rooms when we checked in and they changed our rooms to something simple which was great. A very higgeldy piggeldy hotel layout but it worked out in the end. Breakfast was fine. But not enough staff on hand."
"A lovely hotel and spa. Nice swimming pool, sauna and gym. Good breakfast. Nice friendly staff. Excellent location. My only disappointment was the room was a bit tired and only 2 sockets which were on the opposite wall to the bed. Also the kettle had to sit on the floor because the cable wasn’t long enough to have on the table. Also would have been nice to have some decaf teabags. Small problems really but just observations."
