"We stayed at Tsubaki House en route to Kamikatsu. It was a nice change from hotel rooms. An entire house with nice water view exactly as per the photos. The property is very private and accessed by a narrow road. Staff that handled check in and check out super friendly and proactive. They were very helpful. Take some food for BBQ. There are some places to eat in driving distance. Great place to stay for a family or small group."

"Very clean. Fresh towels every day. Although staff didn’t speak English, google translate worked well. Breakfast was fresh and very Japanese. Hot drink machine available at breakfast but water machine available 24 hours a day. Booking in easy, done by computer and it had English translation. Central for shops, trains, bars and food places.
